Location of "War" : Cheras, KL. Attendance : Me, Loong, Alfa, Seng Huat, Yunzi, Ckor, Digi, Tan, Kit Lou, LengYeh. Time of "War" : 10pm - 3am. Allies : Chivas, Carlsberg & K. Official Documentation Of Death : In this section is the Adjutant General's 'Report of Death' form, noting that a Finding Of Death ( FOD ) had been made for F/O erimin and Ckor. The FOD was issued when sufficient evidence existed to confirm that they both was in fact "deceased", though their remains could not be located or identified. A second Report Of Death was made at 2.30am, which was generated after their remains were located and identified. This reports shows that they had been on active duty for 5 hours when they were "lost". Personal Effects & Inventory : The effects of F/O erimin and Ckor were carefully catalogued, prior to their being sent to the Quartermaster Depot in Klang, and then on to their next of kin. Reports regarding the Status of Remains : An "Area Search" was performed at 2.30am, in a Fighter-occupied zone, for the area when F/O erimin and Ckor went down. This document contains the report of a Fighter eyewitness on the ground, and shows a map of the burial place of both F/O erimin and Ckor. You will note the testimony of the Fighter Club that F/O erimin and Ckor was said to have been "shot due to excessive amount of Chivas". Burial : Further details of the identification and burial of F/O erimin and Ckor are provided here. Erimin's remains were removed from the club at 3am and sent to his car. At the same time, F/O erimin friend signed the "Request for Disposition of Remains" form authorizing the return of his body to the car. The remains were then sent from the club to Klang, from which they shipped home aboard the Fighter Club "Sibeh 9 6", a victory-type car converted for the special purpose of bringing home the dead. The remains were received at Klang. This section of the file also deals with the "bureaucracy" of the process, and discusses the process of being reimbursed for funeral expenses by the Fighter Club. Miscellaneous : These documents are primarily routing slips, cover memos and related paperwork. If you have any questions regarding this file, please contact me. There are number of further research options we can explore, including recreating the flying career of F/O erimin and Ckor. I have appreciated the opportunity to work with you on this project. P/S : i slept in the car till 9am the next day. [11:03 AM] |
